IRLEN SYNDROME AND EYE TRACKING FOR DYSLEXICS

The deb is about following the science and the evidence. This is why we fully support the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) and their position on Irlen Syndrome and eye tracking intervention for dyslexics.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) is the medical college responsible for the training and professional development of ophthalmologists in Australia and New Zealand. This includes maintaining a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system, a Vocational Training Program (VTP), organising scientific congresses and meetings, and much more.

Their mission statement: “Our mission is to lead eye care by setting and improving standards, providing lifelong education, promoting research and innovation and advocating on behalf of patients, their communities and our memberships.”

All the deb asks is that before you make any decisions about paying for a very expensive, unproven intervention, you read the documents below.
