Reading Recovery is an outdated, overpriced non-evidence based intervention for dyslexic children in schools. All the research and studies have confirmed Reading Recovery should not be used as an intervention for dyslexic children, or with children who struggle with reading.
For this reason the deb does not support its use in schools as an intervention for dyslexic children.
We have provided below various links to articles, research and evidence to help you understand why it is not suitable, and how it can do more harm than good.
