READING AND SPELLING
Yeet is a reading game that is fun fast and has easy rules to follow. Shuffle the deck, draw a card, read it, and when a yeet card gets drawn, steal cards from another player! The winner is the one with the most cards after all the cards have been drawn. Fun for the whole family, yeet has kids and adults alike on the edge of their seats and puts a thrill into learning reading.
Spelfabet has lots of games to help with reviewing all the sounds of the alphabet and spelling rules. We highly recommend you check them out. There are lots of individual decks of cards to choose from or you can buy the basic or extended decks together. Great value for money but you do need to print on cards and cut them yourself. Lots of games can be played with these cards which will suit all ages. The basic card set is our favourite if you’re just starting out.
ALPHABETICS CARD GAME – Alphabetics is a phonic card game for two to four players. Each player picks up five cards and takes turns to make words. Each card displays a single letter or sound (such as sh or ar). The pack includes 160 cards in two sets: basic and extension. The basic cards are for beginners up to middle primary. Use the extension cards to make words with all 44 sounds; for upper primary, secondary and beyond.
